Culinaire is a unique antique shop specializing in the culture of food and wine --- from tools for planting and harvesting to the exquisite silver and crystal for the dining table.  The shop features antiques from the eighteenth, nineteenth, early twentieth century and, occasionally, earlier.  Rare and finely-crafted objects are organized within artful vignettes reflecting the kitchen, dining room, garden and wine cellar.

Shoppers will find both small and large treasures: copper pots and fish poachers, champagne coolers, cheese-making equipment, vintage fruit-picking tools, dinnerware, oyster and asparagus plates, tromp l’oeil decorative items, baskets, still life paintings, dining room tables, and chef¹s tools, butcher blocks and pot racks.

In addition to the daily hunt, proprietors Lois and Peter Montagne travel often to Europe seeking extraordinary items to be found through research and friendships cultivated over more than twenty years. They carry with them an extensive “wish list” of customer requests.
