Frog Hollow Farm at the Marketplace is an “urban farm stand” for Frog Hollow Farm in Brentwood. Farmer Al Courchesne sells a variety of fresh-from-the-farm organic seasonal fruits, including the farm’s nationally famous peaches.  Assorted savory and fruit-filled pastries, such galettes, are baked fresh on-site. Shoppers can enjoy these with one of the many teas & specialty coffees offered. The shop also carries the Frog Hollow line of conserves, chutneys and marmalades which have been widely acclaimed.

Farmer Al, who planted his first peach orchard in 1976, now grows 25 varieties of peaches—along with apricots, cherries, pluots, table grapes, plums, Asian and European pears, and nectarines. His 120-acre, CCOF-certified organic farm is located on the Sacramento River Delta. The conserves, chutneys and marmalades are made from tree-ripened fruit prepared by Courchesne’s wife and business partner, Pastry Chef Rebecca Courchesne. Partner Sarah Coddington is the third generation of her family to work on the Frog Hollow Farm land. Frog Hollow Farm was a familiar presence at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market for many years before opening this shop.
