Our new Artisan Series is truly a privilege. Eight pieces of our signature Burnt Caramel Chocolate have been ordained by the artwork of artists from Creativity Explored in San Francisco. The Artisan Collection, begun in the fall of 2002, was borne from Michael’s love and support for the arts, and blends the appeal of breakthrough artwork with boundary-bursting flavor profiles. Michael collaborates with local, San Francisco artists in this ongoing "edible gallery," selecting a new artist every six months to create four chocolate-inspired images. Michael then develops flavors that reflect the personality and style of the images. Previous artists in the Collection include Sherry Olsen, Beth Weintraub, Kelly Tunstall, Paul Madonna and Brian Barneclo.

Recchiuti Confections offers sublime confections handmade in San Francisco. The Parisian-inspired shop, softly lit with hand-blown Murano lamps and appointed with a jewelry case chocolate display, is nationally renowned for its full line of fine artisan chocolates. Confections are available loose and in beautiful packaging, including custom Recchiuti branded boxes. In addition, the selection includes chocolate bars, pates de fruits, handmade marshmallows, nut dragée and brownies. There are also seasonal and holiday selections and confections that are available nowhere else. Recchiuti Confections was founded in 1997 by the husband and wife team of Michael and Jacky Recchiuti. Michael, a chocolate and confectionery visionary, melds classic French technique with signature distinctive flavors such as fresh lavender, lemon verbena or tarragon— inspirations often come from the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market.
