Cowgirl Creamery debuts Wagon Wheel, the latest addition to their lineup. The cheese makers refer to this as an "everyday" cheese. The twenty-five pound wheel is made with milk from the Cowgirl Creamery’s West Marin neighbor - Straus Family Creamery. Ten wheels a week are produced in their new First Street Creamery in Petaluma and aged on site for two months. Wagon Wheel was designed to be on hand for everyday cooking and snacking. The 25-pound wheel has a mild, sweet milk flavor that makes it a delightful table cheese.
